Abstract

Financial literacy in soldiers is very important in securing life, especially after retirement. This is because a person's level of financial literacy will determine the level of financial planning that one needs to plan from the beginning. The main purpose of this study is to examine
financial literacy in the military. This study examines financial literacy in soldiers using three main variables namely financial knowledge, financial behaviour and financial attitude. The study applied a quantitative method
using survey questionnaires gathered from a total of 251 military personnel, selected based on a simple random sampling method. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 in the form of descriptive analysis and Pearson correlation test. Results found that the level of financial literacy in soldiers is moderate. There is a low and positive relationship between financial knowledge and financial attitude and financial behaviour.
