Abstract
The threat posed by Islamic States has grown in recent years among Muslims all across the world, and the United States is no different. Every day, the Islamic States grows, and its primary purpose is to intimidate everyone. The Islamic State doctrine continues to attract new recruits in Malaysia, making the groups of The Kumpulan Mujahidin Kedah, The Kumpulan Perjuangan Islam Perak, The Kumpulan al-Arqam (al-Arqam Group), The Kumpulan Persaudaraan flmu Dalam Al-Maunah, The Kumpulan Militan Malaysia, Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) and Hizbut Tahrir the biggest terrorist threat in 2018. In 2017, 105 terror suspects were arrested in Malaysia, compared to 119 in 2016. The Islamic States are the topic of this research, which examines Malaysia's security threats. Nation-State protection and defence - which includes its people, economies and institutions - is the challenge to security. Non-military features, such as terrorism security, crime reduction, cybersecurity, environmental security, food and energy security, as well as economic and so on, were initially established as a defence against military threats. Malaysians are increasingly joining the Islamic State, and it is our goal to better understand what factors may be driving this recent uptick in terrorism in Malaysia, as well as how effective the country's current laws are at deterring and punishing it. Social media is a significant tool for groups or extreme movements like Islamic States because they utilise it to spread propaganda and recruit new members around the world. As a result, Terrorist Group Funds, Islamic States poses a global terrorist threat, attracting thousands of Foreign Travel Fighters (FTF) from various countries worldwide to Iraq and Syria, and exploiting technologies and other tools for propagating its militant radical agenda and instigating acts of terrorism, as well. People's dispositions are also affected by their own preferences, their family and their social context. A lack of personal motivation, failure to marry, a sense of disillusionment, and a lack of acceptance by society are the most critical of these causes of solitude. Malaysians are increasingly joining the Islamic States because of the impact of social media, internet use, terrorist group financing, personal inclinations, and Islamic States difficulties. Security Offences Special Measures Act and Prevention of Terrorism Act and a secure port of entry to prevent the spread of Islamic States in this country will be bolstered by international and regional cooperation. The efficiency of Malaysia's laws and regulations in preventing and punishing terrorists should be evaluated or appraised, and authorities should have the power to investigate terrorist threats in greater depth so that terrorist threats can be dealt with as effectively as feasible. Anti-terrorism efforts around the world rely heavily on Malaysia's cooperation. Malaysia's position is to fully support any international action or effort to counter-terrorism.
